Introduced in 1984, the Edmeston SX system for the sulphuric acid
industry has enjoyed a rapid success and is now a well established
concept at plants all over the world.
The
SX system is based on the application of Sandvik SX, an austenitic
stainless steel optimized for use in concentrated hot sulphuric acid.
SX has demonstrated excellent corrosion resistance in high concentration
sulphuric acid, both in static and dynamic conditions.
